I picked my first batch of blackberries this morning. Cody sat in his stroller watching my poke through the vines. Many of the flowers did not bear fruit this year. I had plenty to make two double batches of jam.
The Caroline County Fair is next weekend. I plan to submit my blackberry jam. Last year I won a blue ribbon and special award because the judges really enjoyed it.

Good luck! Sounds yummy. I have tomatoes galore. I just canned up some green tomato pickles. That was a first for me. Looking forward to canning more food. :)
