Both flights to NH were packed to the gills. COdy and I settled into our seats on Southwest and fly with out much fuss. A little bit while boarding on the first flight but that passed and we made our second plane.
THe first flight we sat next to a basketball player drafted 7 years ago into a Japanese league. So cool. His knees wouldn't let the tray down they were so long.
Grampere and Jocelyne were there waiting for our arrival and couldn't take their eyes off Cody. With our luggage in tow we all headed off to Clam King for the best clam rolls ever!!!
More to come on our wedding traveling adventure ... stay tuned.
Daddy flying in tomorrow night.

mmmm banana bread

I forgot a bunch of bananas at the house when we left for the beach house. So now we had a bunch of overripe bananas. I made this recipe from Allrecipes.com. I added a 1/2 cup of milk chocolate chips and sprinkled some on top.
I had enough for two so I made the neighbors one. They just brought home their newborn yesterday. Hunter Micheal Anderson. We can't wait to meet him!

Last Day at the Beach
Finally a beautiful day down on the beach.

Awe Daddy and Cody.

Awe Mommy and Cody

We are a silly bunch.

The dogs are bummed to leave too.

In Newport News we stopped at the new Costco to get dogfood on they way home. TJ took a detour and to my surprise we passed by a theatre who I was hired to create the logo for. It is always so cool to see my work on a huge scale (something I keep in mind when creating an identity). Check it out ...

Cody's First Beach Trip
Here are some photos of Cody's Trip to the Beach House in the Outer Banks. The house is located North of Duck and South of Corolla, NC in a place called Ocean Sands.

This is the house that was built in 1984. We are planning on re-doing the siding and fixing the decks (maybe even adding on to them) this year so if you know anybody in construction down in the Outer Banks let us know!
We visited the site where we got married almost 5 years ago (May 22, 2004) It was breezy and cold that is why Cody didn't come out of the Bjorn for a photo op.

Check out that Baby Bjorn I am wearing! A nice hand me down from my sister in law Trish.
I love these pants!!!
These Oaks are so pretty
This is the Whalehead Club.

I had to save the best for last just to make sure you scrolled through all of the pictures

Birthday Fun
Thank you to everyone who came to the party to celebrate TJ and Neighbor John's birthdays -- which total 81 years! We all had a great time. The food was awesome, the drinks were flowing and the band was HOT!
The menu included BBQ Pork Shoulder, Burgers, Dogs, BBQ Boneless Chicken Breast, BBQ Boneless Chicken Thighs, Bone in Chicken Breasts, Italian Dressing Marinated Boneless Chicken Thighs and Breasts, Venison, Steamed whole Onions (cut like a blooming onion and topped with butter and old bay), Meatballs, Baked Beans, Pasta Salad, Potato Salad, Deviled Eggs, Fried Chicken, Chips, Peanut Butter Cookies, Brownies, Upside Down Pineapple Cake, Strawberry Cup Cakes, Dark Chocolate Cup Cakes, and I think that is it but I probably forgot something.
As soon as the band packed up and left he sun came out and the wind stopped.
We got a nice fire going after the wind died down. While the band was playing we had a barrel going
The Ucciardi Men
Look at those Eyes!!!

Everyone wants to hug on Nellie!!!
I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for a great babysitter. This is Carla and my parents trusted her when she was only 12 years old (somewhere around there) to watch me. Well trust or they just wanted to get the hell out of the house.

The Easter Egg hunters!!! Yep, that's right we do it all.
Auntie Kim smooching on Cody.
